Latina women, and women of color generally, have been on the front lines of change throughout the history of social movements — and it’s time we follow their lead. In this session, you will hear from author and social justice leader Denise Collazo and Executive Director of Faith in Action Rev. Alvin Herring on: * The power of Latina women in leadership positions * How to go beyond surviving, and instead thrive in the fight * How to overcome the lack of representation of Latina women in leadership * Advice for Latina and Black Women leaders * The importance of leaders developing a clear purpose and vision This talk is facilitated by Berrett-Koehler Publisher and President Johanna Vondeling as part of the Leadership for a Changing World Summit produced by Berrett-Koehler Publishers.
