"Claire? What's happening?" Cara asked
"Call Drew." I hissed, following the security guards to a secluded area.
"Claire!" Cara called frantically when she tried to follow and the officers stopped her.
"It's okay Cara, just call Drew, please," I said as calmly as I could manage.
I couldn't believe the old man was actually going through with it. How could he hate me this much? I felt the tears pricking the backs of my eyes as the police offers started reading me my rights. I couldn't process what they were saying. I heard words like, arrest, embezzlement, remain silent and attorney as I was handcuffed and escorted from the airport...
