Losing my father was a subject I wanted to avoid discussing, it was in that subject matter where it became more real. When you lose someone to death, it almost seems unreal, it's like they have taken a trip or a vacation, and you just know that you will see them again. However, reality sinks in.

Realizing I was never going to see my father again began affecting me mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
